2010 to 2019

Sue’s flourishing consulting practice came to a halt after the financial crash of 2008, and in 2009 Sue, ever the Scentrepreneur®, introduced a brand new concept into the USA providing Bespoke or Custom Fragrances. At the time, many people weren’t familiar with the word ‘bespoke’ (a British term usually referring to high quality exorbitant clothing made for an exclusive customer e.g Royalty or the uber-wealthy). Recognizing an emerging trend, Sue launched her Bespoke Perfume initiative where she offers and creates luxury custom perfumes for men and women at upscale yet affordable prices. In addition “experiences” are a big buzz-word and Corporations are seeking multi-sensory, interactive, innovative team-building events. Always interested in education, Sue was Adjunct Professor of LIM College and taught “The Secret World of Scent” to students. In 2014 Sue opened her beautiful perfume atelier The Scentarium in the heart of Tribeca, and is very proud to say that as we celebrate our 11th year offering Custom Fragrances experiences and events, and our 6th year at The Scentarium, we have created perfumes for celebrities, Fortune 500 companies and almost 16,000 individual fragrance lovers!
