ERWINNA, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA—Sand Castle Winery and Scenterprises present an experiential and interactive fragrance | wine pairing that is both educational and scentertaining®. Our journey will begin at 2.30 PM as we gather at Sand Castle Winery—known for their prolific wines and classes. Guests will be greeted by charismatic co-owner and wine expert Joseph Maxian offering unique estate bottled wines, savory cheeses, and appetizers for the afternoon’s féte of sensorial treats. Master Class starts promptly at 3:00 PM EST. The Master Class will focus on pairing unique fragrance ingredients and inspired wines at one of the season’s most extraordinary multi-sensorial events. Guests will explore the nuances in flavor and fragrances with true experts educating their guests about their distinct worlds and process. Sand Castle’s fragrance partner is the fabulous Sue Phillips, founder and president of Scenterprises, Ms. Phillips is a world-renowned fragrance industry expert who has developed fragrances for Avon, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Trish McEvoy, Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes and many others. Sue is the founder of The Scentarium—Mahattan’s newest perfumery and interactive fragrance atelier where she presents her celebrated custom fragrances that guide guests on a ‘scentsory journey’ to create their own personal signature scent. Sue Phillips will also create a Custom Scent from the fragrance ingredients that are explored; ‘Scent of Sand Castle’ will be a wonderful memento fragrance from this distinctive occasion. Sip, sniff, and savor wines that Joe and Sue have curated to meld perfectly with the fragrance ingredients we’ll be sampling. (Sneak Peek: Sniff the exquisite Rose floral blend which combines violet leaf, clove and cognac with the luscious fruity notes and then sip the exquisite Cabernet – a barrel aged wine with cherry and currant flavors and a soft creamy finish. Guest will immediately see the correlation of Flavors and Fragrances).
